"To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).

Jesus lives in those who have waved the white flag of "self-doing" and surrendered their lives to Him. The most popular verse shown to baseball television audiences all across the world tells us that "whoever believes in Jesus" will be saved, no more, no less (John 3:16).

But what did Jesus say about Himself that made Him so special? What can we learn about this One who lives inside of true Christians and guarantees a place in heaven after they die? He simply said, "I am."

1. Bread. Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:35, 41,48,51). Are you hungry? Got Bread?
   
   
2. Light. When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12; 9:5). Do you need to open the blinds? Need a light?
   
   
3. Gate (Door). "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture" (John 10:9). Have you gone through the door? Got access?
   
   
4. Good Shepherd. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" (John 10:11, 14). Are you following the best shepherd? Got guidance?
   
   
5. Resurrection and Life. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies" (John 11:25). Have you believed? Got life?
   
   
6. Way, Truth and Life. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Have you traveled His direction? Got purpose?
   
   
7. Vine. "I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener...I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:1, 5). Is your fruit ripe?
